Hear Her Collective CIC

Privacy notice

Last updated: 17 September 2026

This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we use it and the rights available to you under UK data protection law.

Who we are

Hear Her Collective CIC operates this website and is the data controller for personal information collected through it. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at anniefordehhc@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Please take care: do not include sensitive personal information about yourself or another person in the enquiry form unless it is necessary for your request.

How and why we use information

We use enquiry information to read, manage and respond to your request, and where appropriate to discuss work with Hear Her Collective. We use limited technical information to protect the form and the website from spam, abuse and service disruption. If you consent to analytics, we use it to understand website use and improve the site. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

Lawful bases

Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where we ask for consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Service providers and international transfers

Enquiry submissions are sent through Plunk, an email delivery service, so that we can receive and respond to them. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics processes website-usage information for us. Service providers may process information outside the UK. We expect them to protect information using appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards and only for the services they provide.

The website may also request fonts and other static assets from third-party delivery services. We do not use those services for advertising or behavioural tracking.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage an ongoing relationship and meet legal, accounting or safeguarding obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete it or anonymise it where appropriate.

Your rights

Subject to legal exceptions, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also have a right to receive information in a portable format. To make a request, email anniefordehhc@gmail.com. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website, services or legal requirements change. The date above shows when it was last revised.
